DR CAMILLA NORD
Dr Camilla Nord is a neuroscientist at the University of Cambridge who is interested in how brain imaging, brain stimulation, and computational modelling can improve treatments for mental health disorders. She wants to know: can we predict who will respond to which treatment, and develop a ‘precision medicine’ approach to psychiatry? And can we use the tools of neuroscience to develop new, targeted treatments for mental health disorders? She has an MA from the University of Oxford, Magdalen College, where she studied Physiology and Psychology, and a Ph.D. and MSc in Neuroscience from University College London. She lives in Cambridge with her partner Becky, who is also a neuroscientist, and their cat Darwin.
