DR CLAIRE DAVIES

Dr Claire Davies is a researcher at the University of Exeter working on star and planet formation. As an observational astronomer, Claire specialises in the technique of interferometry – using arrays of telescopes to obtain high-resolution data. Claire also acts as the lead coordinator for the College of Engineering, Mathematics and Physical Sciences at Exeter. In this talk, she describes how astronomers are beginning to understand the degree to which the Solar System can be considered “normal”.
